Shirley Chisholm State Park Wayfinding Signage
Named in honor of Shirley Chisholm — a Brooklyn-born trailblazer who was the first African American Congresswoman, as well as the first woman and African American to run for President — the park offers spectacular panoramic views of New York City.
Working with a team at Two Twelve, I researched and illustrated the local flora and fauna to create patterns for exterior directional vinyl signage, trail signage, and to create a portrait to honor her.
